Tangiora Hinaki is a Videographer, photographer and radio content maker in the North West of Western Australia and is the founder of Kick Up Dust Media in the Pilbara.
She worked at ABC Pilbara in Karratha for eight years as a content creator and is passionate about working with the First Nations community and telling engaging stories through radio and film.
These days you'll find Tangiora filming and creating radio programs as CEO of Ngaarda Media in the Pilbara town of Roebourne in West Australia.
2014 was a successful year for Tangiora with the launch of her first documentary called "Gifts of the Marrga" which tells the story of First Nation women and their experience and cultural practice of giving birth in the country and how birthing has evolved.
Mrs Hinaki is currently doing a Diploma in Film, Screen and Animation.
Tangiora received a scholarship to attend the Leadership WA Rising program in 2020 which has been instrumental in learning about emotional intelligence and leading a team.
