Peter has been the Vice President for UGFM for 5 years, President for 15 years on Committee of Management. He has been the Head of engineering, designed, installed and maintained studios at Alexandra and Marysville, established primary transmission site and 4 retransmission sites, with emergency power systems. Also broadcast programs with local news, music, sport and emergency information. Integral in establishing UGFM - Radio Murrindindi as Australia's first official community radio emergency broadcaster in 2010. Have also assisted technically other local community radio stations at Mansfield, Seymour and Kinglake. He has also volunteered in many roles within Vic SES for the past 46 years.
