About this Speaker
Jo’s commitment to social justice, inclusion and authentic human connection has led to a life-long passion for community media. As the CEO at the Community Broadcasting Foundation, Jo leads a team of 10 staff and over 160 volunteers who support community broadcasters across the country to share stories and culture with their local communities. Jo started her career in community broadcasting at youth station SYN Media, where she became Station Manager after completing her media degree. She later worked as Assistant Manager at 3ZZZ and has also served on the Board of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia.
