About this Speaker
Incandescent vocals, guitar brilliance and rare Noongar language. This music is a celebration of the things we share, not the things which divide. We all understand love and loss; they mean the same in anyone's language. Over many years, Noongar language has been reduced to a whisper; but in the same way the butterfly emerges from the cocoon, we are now witnessing a beautiful renaissance of language through song. Informed by the four principles of Koort (Heart), Moort (Family and Community), Boodja (Land) and Koorlangka (Children and Legacy), Gina and Guy take audiences on a journey they're not likely to forget.
